Photo of the day – The Dali Theatre Museum – Figueres

This is not the museum that we thought we had tickets for but it was amazing none the less. This is a shot of The Dali Theatre Museum in Figueres. Not the Casa-Museu Salvador Dalí de Portlligat as we had thought when we bought the tickets online many months earlier! There are about an hour apart from one another yet extremely different. The Dali Theatre Museum is one that he helped design prior to his death in his home town of Figueres in Spain. The later is on the ocean in Portlligate and Salvador Dalí’s only fixed abode from 1930, the place in which he normally lived and worked up till 1982 when, upon Gala’s death. You must buy tickets many months ahead of time from the Dali website and recommend that you go to both and get to each early as the lines form quickly and the experience can be frustrating when crowded.

If you like my travel tips and if you like it and are planning to book a package somewhere hot why not use to book.
